Wheelin team 457 was founded in 2003.  It's home is North Branch Michigian at North Branch American Legion Post 457.  The North Branch American Legion was first to extend a helping hand.  The idea was to let the newly formed group have use of the building.  Wheelin Team 457 would take it from there. 

The mission statement of Wheelin Team 457 is to provide the physically challenged with indoor and outdoor sports and recreation.  It provides education and guidance to community, state,and nation and will strive to touch the world.  Wheelin Team 457 is a 501-C3 non profit organization and is funded by grants, fund raising and private donations.
